Underrepresented entrepreneurs face specific challenges that require thoughtful solutions, and while many national accelerators have simply added “inclusion focussed” to existing programming, Lightship Accelerator programming is developed and facilitated by minority founders who have navigated the difficulties associated with growing and funding companies, often while operating within unsupportive ecosystems. We educate, mentor and fund remarkable founders who are driving minority innovation.

WHAT IS ACCELERATOR?

Lightship Accelerator is a 12-week program driving inclusive acceleration, education, and opportunity for minority and female tech founders. We enhance ecosystems nationwide with remarkable, scalable companies traditional investors often overlook.

Among year-round training and mentorship, the Lightship Accelerator consists of two 6-week targeted “work sprints” that include applied coursework in branding/marketing, product development, practical application of AI, legal considerations, and fundraising.
