Winners compete for up to $25,000 in cash prizes and over $1,000,000 in other prizes including Amazon Web Service credits. FAQ

WHAT IS TWITCH PITCH?

During this culture altering paradigm shift instigated by COVID-19, many early-stage businesses remain eager to raise capital, yet find themselves at a standstill in their fundraising efforts. Twitch Pitch is a fun, completely virtual pitch contest giving startups the opportunity to practice their pitch and win Amazon credits & up to $5K in cash prizes! Twitch Pitch is sponsored by Lightship Capital, the venture capital fund driving innovation and investment in the Midwest.

MY COMPANY IS A NON-PROFIT BASED OUTSIDE THE US, CAN I APPEAR ON THE SHOW?

Unfortunately, no. While we certainly encourage international startups and nonprofits to view and vote, all eligible contestant companies will be US incorporated, for profit entities.

MY COMPANY HAS RECEIVED AN INVITATION TO APPEAR ON TWITCH PITCH, WHAT'S NEXT?

First, Congratulations! Now, we’ll need you to submit your pitch in MP4 format no later than 3 days prior to the air date you’ll be given. Your pitch should walk us through your deck, and not exceed 5 minutes in length. On the day of your appearance, we will send you the details on how to get set up. If you are selected as a winner, we will follow up with the appropriate forms required to release prizes/funds.

IF I WIN TWITCH PITCH, WILL MY COMPANY BE GUARANTEED INVESTMENT?

No. Not from Lightship Capital or anyone on our panel, anyway! Twitch Pitch is a contest intended to do what Lightship Capital does best-- teach startups the skills necessary to improve their investability. This is an educational exercise with the chance for the best pitches to win Amazon credits and cash prizes. Twitch Pitch is not an investor meeting! It’s a fun contest and a way for startups to practice their pitches and win stuff.
